Distinguished Alumni
The Education Foundation of Albert Lea has established an Educational Grant and Scholarship Endowment Fund to be used for the benefit of students of Albert Lea Area Schools. The Foundation will solicit tax exempt donations from alumni, individuals, business and other Foundations for this fund. Initially, there will be two separate parts of this fund.
1. An Endowment Fund has been established at the Minnesota Community Foundation. Annual earnings from this fund will be returned to the Education Foundation and distributed for the benefit of students through grants in support of programs approved by the District for the enhancement of educational opportunities for students and for Scholarships to graduates of ALHS.

2. A locally held account has been established to be used as a temporary depository for funds solicited for Alumni Projects approve by the District for the benefit of its students and hold these assets for disbursement to vendors for approved projects.
